New CCO and new CFO Changes in Management

The Swiss software company AdNovum, headquartered in Zurich with offices in Bern, Budapest, Ho Chi Minh City and Singapore, reorganizes its executive board. In doing so, AdNovum creates the organizational environment which is necessary for a sustained expansion of its core business Application Development and strengthens the business units IT Consulting, Application Management and Products.

Peter Gassmann, former Head of Marketing and Sales and Head of IT Consulting, has been nominated Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) and member of the executive board. In his new role, he assumes responsibility for AdNovum's market strategy and the expansion of the business unit IT Consulting. As of February 1, 2015, Knut Eschweiler will become Chief Financial Officer (CFO), also a newly created position, and member of the executive board. In this function, he will be responsible for financial management and human resources. AdNovum CEO Chris Tanner: «We are observing an increasing demand for practical consulting and comprehensive IT services, and we are striving to improve our service offering continuously. Peter Gassmann and Knut Eschweiler are highly experienced managers with an excellent track record. They will help drive AdNovum's strategic development.»

In addition to CEO Chris Tanner and the two new members, AdNovum's executive board continues to include Tom Sprenger and Kornel Wassmer. Chief Technology Officer (CTO) Tom Sprenger, responsible for the technology strategy, now also heads the business unit Products. Chief Development Officer (CDO) Kornel Wassmer will continue to lead the core business unit Application Development. Bruno Kaiser and Christian Crowden, former members of the executive board, have decided to take on new career challenges. Chris Tanner: «Bruno Kaiser and Christian Crowden have played an instrumental role in the development and success of AdNovum over the last 15 years. I welcome this opportunity to thank them for their outstanding commitment.»

Peter Gassmann, 42, Bachelor in Computer Science HTL, joined AdNovum in 2010. As Project Leader and Senior IT Consultant, he initially designed and implemented solutions and strategies in the areas of security and identity and access management. In April 2012, he was promoted to Head of IT Consulting and, in this function, expanded AdNovum's offering in this strategic business area. Prior to joining AdNovum, Peter Gassmann worked for Zurich Financial Services and Sun Microsystems, among others.

Knut Eschweiler, 48, MA in Economics and Business Administration UZH, has 14 years of experience as CFO and member of the board of various IT companies in the areas of finance and controlling, corporate services and human resources. Prior to joining AdNovum, he was CFO at Adcubum, Bluewin, Swisscom Wholesale and the IT department of the city of Zurich.
